Almshouse Vacancies 

Almshouse vacancies occur from time to time and will be notified on this website as well as advertised in the local area. If you wish to register your interest in becoming a resident and meet the criteria below complete this contact form.





The Charity currently has an almshouse vacancy at one of its properties in Church Street, Buckingham.  This is a studio unit with living/sleeping area, kitchen, shower room and back garden. You must meet the criteria below to be considered for an almshouse.


BRIEF OUTLINE OF CRITERIA

• Currently resident or have strong connections to Buckingham, Gawcott, Bourton or Lenborough (“the Area”) 
• Capable of independent living. 
• Have a demonstrable “need”. 
• Generally suitable for the accommodation available 
• Not be wheelchair dependent (because of the unavailability of wheelchair access to any of the almshouse units).
