Buckingham General Charities was formed at the combining of 17 Buckingham charities, the Gawcott allotments and the 'Poor Allotment' in Tingewick.

It exists to relieve people who have a strong local connection to Buckingham, Gawcott, Lenborouogh or Bourton who are in need, by providing almshosues and items, services or facilites calculated to relieve the need of such persons.
