Almshouse Vacancies 

Almshouse vacancies occur from time to time and will be notified on this website. 

In those circumstances, potential applicants may be asked to register with Bucks Home Choice in the first instance
and to contact the BAWC Clerk, using the contact form to request an application form. 
 
 

BRIEF OUTLINE OF CRITERIA

•  Currently resident (for at least two years) in Buckingham, Gawcott, Bourton or Lenborough (“the Area”)  or  have strong connections with the The Area
• Capable of independent living. 
• Have a demonstrable “need”. 
• Generally suitable for the accommodation available 
• Not be wheelchair dependent (because of the unavailability of wheelchair access to any of the almshouse units).
